    The USM Haller system was created in 1963 by Fritz Haller, a Swiss architect, in collaboration with USM owner Paul Schärer.

    Originally designed for their personal offices, the system was so innovative that it became the identity of the company.

    The systems are still manufactured in Münsingen, Switzerland — the city where USM was originally founded in 1885.
